Okanjande

Okanjande is a fully permitted and former producing mine (2017-2018) that can be reactivated in a relatively quick and low-cost manner. It is ideally situated to supply the global energy transition and EV revolution. Located in Namibia, one of the most mining-friendly jurisdictions on the African continent, it has easy shipping access to North American and European markets from the country’s deepwater port at Walvis Bay. The mine is scheduled to restart in 2025 at 31,000 tpy, pending financing. Relocation of the existing processing operations to the mine-site is designed to lower operating costs, enhance expansion potential and improve sustainability.

Okanjande hosts 1.6 Mt of battery grade graphite of M&I Resources(1) and has a current mine life of 10 years. This substantial resource provides the potential for modular expansion to much higher production levels.
