The Team
Our expert team of PhDs and developers bring extensive knowledge and experience in the development, production, and placement of carbon materials for batteries with a focus on lithium-Ion batteries. NGC Battery Materials Group will specialize in advanced material analytics and electrochemical characterization techniques for carbon and battery materials as well as providing in-depth expertise in the field of high temperature processing, scale-up and carbon design. This will enable Northern to provide tailored solutions to EV battery makers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to satisfy their various unique battery requirements.
The Lab
The NGCBM team operates from a state-of-the-art laboratory in Frankfurt, focusing on the development and characterization of advanced graphite-based materials. These innovative materials are engineered to improve the efficiency and performance of energy storage systems, supporting the evolving needs of the battery industry.
Our state-of-the-art, Germany-based laboratory provides a wide range of advanced characterization techniques for carbon and battery materials. We specialize in electrochemical characterizations on a coin cell level and can provide a comprehensive set of chemical and physical characterization methods for battery materials.
