Our Trajectory
Northern Graphite’s roots date back to 2002 with the acquisition of the Bissett Creek graphite project in Ontario. In April 2022, the Company acquired the Lac des Iles graphite mine in Quebec, which has been producing graphite for over 35 years, providing clients with product used in refractory bricks for steel making, heat management in mobile phones, and friction and lubrication products for brakes and brake linings for the global automobile industry, among many other applications.
Today the Company is on track to become a mine-to-market-to-battery graphite producer and processor, with mining operations and development projects in Canada and Namibia and plans to build a global network of Battery Anode Material (BAM) plants designed to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-competitive solutions for the energy transition, serving battery markets in North America, Europe and the Middle East.
